Belinda

Hi there, I'm Belinda, owner of Salty Scissors. My family and I traveled Australia to find the perfect place to call home, and we found it right here in Yeppoon. We've been on the Capricorn Coast since 2023 and couldn't be happier with our decision.

My hairdressing career started at 17 in Sydney's eastern suburbs. I studied under two Italian brothers, then moved into management in the QVB and Bondi, where I successfully ran both salons.

After a break to have my babies and fine-tune my management skills, it was time to get back in the game. I'm loving being my own boss this time around and enjoy offering those little extras to my clients.

We pride ourselves on educating both our clients and ourselves as stylists, creating a community and providing a space for rejuvenation. I'm always looking for ways to give back to the community, like our local artist wall.

I have recently attended training and will continue to do so. In an industry that requires you to stay ahead of trends, I'm very happy to offer them and more.

Hi, I'm Marley, and I've recently joined the hairdressing industry as an apprentice with Belinda. For as long as I can remember, hair has always been my passion—from begging to braid friends' and family members' hair when I was little to now starting my journey to becoming a stylist.

I love learning new and exciting things about hair. I look forward to expanding my rapidly growing set of skills and helping you in the future.
